PTVR is developed thanks to collaborative work by a group of neuroscience researchers and developers working in research institutes, universities, and companies.
The PTVR project started in 2018 and was initiated by Aman Shankar Mathur, Rupak Majumdar, and Tandra Ghose, computer programmers from Max Planck Institute for Software Systems (MPI-SWS). Their work was presented at ECVP 2018 and their library was open source. In 2019/2020, their project and philosophy was continued by a group of vision neuroscientists and computer vision scientists in the south-east of France (CNRS-AMU, INRIA). Since then, PTVR has continuously been developed and extended by the following people. |
Project leaders:
- Eric Castet (CNRS-AMU, LPC, Senior research scientist)
- Pierre Kornprobst (Inria, Biovision lab, Senior research scientist)
